So, I'm pumping gas into my guzzler one night and you drive up next to me with IMWRONG on your license plate. I laugh at it. We chat. You introduce yourself. I buy a book, and I spend the last few months telling friends about your book and that "I met this guy. He's hysterical". Loved the book! Great job! See you at the pumps!

I just loved your book! I'm back your site now buying 2 other copies. One for my son's coach who usually has to deal with the whacko parents and the other for the inevitable next parent who flips out on the sidelines screaming at his kid.

Not sure if you East Coasters hear much news from our West Coast, but there have been a string of "parental misbehaving" at various kids sports events, and your book was being gobbled up by many. We loved the stories and matched our own local names to just about every story in your book! Just hilarious, and keep up the great work!

I loved the book. As a parent and a coach I find the book hit the nail on the head. I actually have recommended this book to all the of my players parent when I am introducing myself as their child's coach.

I must say you are hysterical. I laughed my ass-off at your witty way of detailing very true, realistic, and accurate events. My son started out in sports at 2 years old and I have already seen many of these situations in the past 5 years. Terrific job- you should be proud to be standing up for these kids- someone needs to (I only wish I had your courage). I can't wait to read your other books!

I read your book while sitting at my son's Hockey practices. While other fathers (and mothers) are complaining about coaches, and their kids not getting enough playing time, I sit there in my own world laughing at your stories and wondering if they know that you wrote about them!! Terrific job and very accurate depictions!! I've signed up for your blogs too. We miss them though. When will you be able to kick them off again?

I LOVED your book. I have a 10 year old who played basketball for the 1st time. I have to tell you what I heard and seen from parents and coaches left my jaw on the ground at just about every game. After 1 season of dealing with complete morons and trying to teach my son that not ALL coaches and parents behave badly and not all coaches scream at the top of their lungs at each other at games is an OK thing to do. Honestly, I contemplated bribing my son to not play next year because of all the chaos. I just do not want him to ever feel bad about trying hard and not winning the game then having an over zealous coach/parent putting them down over it. I think that we need to set up sport games for ages 12 and below that do not keep score.....there we go no screaming and boring for most, so maybe we can weed out the undesirables. Great Book....

| This is a terrific book. I wish you published it 5 years ago when I was coaching. I would have handed it out to every parent and made it mandatory reading! Great work!

My son's high school Booster Club recently rolled out your fundraiser. It was the easiest $1,400 the club ever made. There was essentially no work for (us) volunteers; and the parents that bought the book are laughing and sharing stories in the bleachers every day. We look forward to doing it all again next year too!! Nice job!

Great book Tom!! You bring to life what we've all seen at one point or another, and another. I'm thinking I need a case of these to just hand out at games....

| I couldn't put the book down! I'd finish one story and couldn't wait to get to the next one. These should be distributed to every parent when they register their kid into any sports activity! Keep up the great work!

These stories are short, funny - no, hysterical and sadly very real. This is a book that should be required reading before any parent can attend a child's sports event, and then, required to be read prior to the start of any and all sport seasons. Tom, you have brought to light a major and growing problem in youth sports and did it using humor so hopefully the point will get across to those who need to hear it. GREAT JOB! Here's to some mandatory reading by all!

I asked my husband to read it too. We both loved it! One night at dinner he asked if he was the guy in the story titlted "I'll never eat fried chicken again!". That led to a long overdue, healthy conversation. Let's just say he's not fully cured yet from his 'craziness', but the improvements have been remarkable!!! Thank you for helping him and most importantly, thank you helping our kids!
